About Us

Our Belief

Salvation

Salvation is a free gift from God. We believe everyone needs to be saved from their sins by the blood of Jesus Christ. That anyone who believes in their heart and confesses that Jesus is their Lord and Savior will be saved.  We are saved not by works, but by the atoning work of Jesus Christ. Who was born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit, who lived a perfect life and was the perfect sacrifice for our sins.  Jesus died on the cross and rose again three days later.  Jesus says, “I am the way the truth and the life and no one can come to the Father except through me”

Acts 4:12; John 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 5:17; John 3:5; 1 John 1:9; John 14:6

The Father

The person of God the Father, is Sovereign, He is forever and perfect in all ways.  He in His perfect love mercifully and gracefully involves Himself in all things.  He saved the world from sin and the punishment of sin (death) by sending His son to die and rise again three days later.  That whoever shall come to Him through His Son will be saved.

1 Corinthians 8:6; Deuteronomy 33:27; Isaiah 64:8; Matthew 23:9; 1 Peter 1:3

Jesus

Is Gods one and only begotten Son, perfect and conceived by the Holy Spirit.  He born of a Virgin birth and lived a sinless life, while on earth HE performed miracles and taught and gave God the Father Glory.  He took the weight of all sin and died on the cross and was buried. He then was resurrected three days later.  He ascended into heaven and will return again soon.

Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Mark 16:19; John 14:6; 1 Timothy 2:5

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit lives in every believer in Jesus Christ and he is a guide, helper, comforter, and teacher.  He came on behalf of God the Father and Son and convicts the world of all sin.  He is working in the lives of all believers to change and make holy and gives gifts and abilities for ministry.

John 14:16-17&26; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 3:18, Romans 15;13-16

The Trinity

There is one God and He existed in Three Persons (Triune God): Father, Son and Holy Spirit which are equal.

Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; Hebrews 9:14

The Bible

The Bible is the Word of God and is infallible and inspired by God both the Old and New Testament. The bible is our guide and teaches how to love and obey God and is foundational in a Christians life and the life of the church.

 Isaiah 28:13; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Church

The church is Jesus’ bride, made up of people and is the living spiritual body, and Christ is Lord and head of the church.  The gathering of people is also a way to “spur one another on toward love and good deeds”. There are many local churches which makes up the church body as a whole.

Hebrews 10:24-25; Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 4:11-13

Creation

We believe God is the beginning and as outlined in Genesis 1 and 2 He created everything over six days and on the seventh day He rested.

Genesis 1; Genesis 2; Hebrews 3:4; Romans 1:20; Romans 11:36

Sin

We believe as scripture has stated, “we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”  Since sin entered the world through Adam and Eve we have a sin nature.  Everyone has sinned and is in need of our Savior.

Hell

We believe there is a true and literal Hell and that all those who believe and confess that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior will be saved and in Heaven.  Those who reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and reject the salvation will spend eternity fully separated from the Lord in Hell.

  Revelation 21:8; Matthew 25:46; Psalm 9:17; 2 Thessalonians 1:9

The Fall

The fall took place in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.  Therefore, sin has entered the world corrupting the entire natural world. Therefore, we are born into original sin.

Genesis 3; Jeremiah 17:9; 1 John 1:8; Romans 5:12

We believe God created marriage between male and female only.  Marriage is also represented in the relationship between Jesus and the church.

Matthew 19:4-5; Mark 10:6-7; Genesis 2:24

God’s Sovereignty & Man’s Responsibility as it relates to Salvation

God is Sovereign, He is supreme authority of all things and all things are under His control. God offers a free gift of Salvation through His son, Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection.  It is man’s responsibility to receive this free gift of salvation that is available to all.  We receive this gift of Salvation by believing in our heart and confessing that Jesus Christ is Lord and He died for our sins.

Titus 3:5; Ephesians 2:8-10; John 3:16-17

Spiritual Gifts

Are the gifts empowered by the Holy Spirit.  We believe that all Biblical gifts are outlined in scripture and are still being exercised today. The Spiritual gifts given to us are for the work of ministry and to bring God glory.

Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12

We believe God created marriage between male and female only.  Marriage is also represented in the relationship between Jesus and the church.

Matthew 19:4-5; Mark 10:6-7; Genesis 2:24

Marriage

We believe God created marriage between male and female only.  Marriage is also represented in the relationship between Jesus and the church.

Matthew 19:4-5; Mark 10:6-7; Genesis 2:24

Gender

We believe God created the sex of Male and Female as well as establishing the gender of male and female inline with the sex he created them to be.  He created them different to be partners and complement each other.

Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 5:22-33

Sexuality

We believe God created Male and Female. He created sexuality that is outlined in the Bible that heterosexual relationships should only be exercised within a marriage. A marriage of one man and one woman. Genesis 1:27 1 Corthinthians 6:9-11 Ephesians 5:22-33

Sanctity Of Life

We believe a human life begins at the moment of conception. We do not believe in abortions. We view life as a gift from God and each life is known by God. Psalm 127:3-5 Jeremiah 1:4-5, Psalm 139:13-17
